QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti on Saturday said that “Marka-e-Haq” represented a victory of national unity and cohesion, adding that Pakistan’s armed forces, under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir, had defeated an adversary “seven times larger.”
Addressing a special ceremony in Quetta marking celebrations over the military success, Bugti said those who had taken up arms against Pakistan had now witnessed the fate of their “patrons in India,” adding that the outcome was visible to the world.
He said the doors of the state remained open to all those who accepted the Constitution of Pakistan.
In a separate statement issued on the occasion, the chief minister said Marka-e-Haq was not only a military victory but also a powerful example of national resolve, courage and unity.
He said the armed forces had responded effectively to aggression with bravery, discipline and professional excellence, making the country’s defence “unshakable.”
Bugti said the success was a victory of the entire nation’s unity, adding that Pakistan had demonstrated resilience on every front. He also credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for what he described as wise leadership that strengthened national cohesion and state harmony.
The chief minister further said the “outstanding military leadership” of Field Marshal Asim Munir had elevated the operational capabilities of the Pakistan Army to new heights.
