ISLAMABAD: Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a decline on Friday following a significant increase a day earlier.
The price of gold per tola dropped by Rs2,700, bringing the new rate to Rs494,062 per tola.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs2,315 to Rs423,578.
In the international market, gold prices fell by $27, with the rate reaching $4,717 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market moved upward.
The price of silver per tola increased by Rs80, taking the new rate to Rs8,525 per tola.
