KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a major increase, with the price of one tola rising by Rs7,800.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the new price of one tola of gold has reached Rs496,762 after the increase.
The price of 10 grams of gold also climbed by Rs6,687, reaching Rs425,893.
Meanwhile, in the international market, gold prices increased by $78 per ounce, taking the rate to $4,744 per ounce.
