Karachi: In a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match, Multan Sultans defeated Rawalpindi by a comfortable margin.
Chasing a target of 167 runs, Multan successfully reached 168 for 4 in the 19th over.
For Multan Sultans, Steve Smith scored 56 runs, while Glenn Turner remained unbeaten on 37, and Sahibzada contributed 20 runs.
From Rawalpindi’s side, Asif Afridi took two wickets.
Earlier, Rawalpindi posted 166 runs for the loss of four wickets in their allotted overs.
Daryl Mitchell scored 58 runs, while Forrester made a quick 37 off just 15 balls.
Mohammad Imran, Peter Siddle, Arafat Minhas, and Wasim Junior picked up one wicket each.
This marked Rawalpindi’s eighth consecutive defeat in PSL 11.
