Karachi, April 19, 2026: Multan Sultans continued their strong campaign in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 with a hard-fought 11-run victory over Karachi Kings in the 28th match at the National Stadium, Karachi.
Karachi Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Multan Sultans posted a competitive total of 207 for 7 in 20 overs. Shan Masood led the way with a quickfire 46 off 25 balls, while Josh Philippe contributed 44 off 23.
Awais Zafar added 36 off 27 as the Sultans maintained a strong scoring rate throughout.
In reply, Karachi Kings managed 196 in 19.4 overs. Reeza Hendricks top-scored with 49 off 32 balls, supported by Abbas Afridi’s aggressive 34 off 16 and Moeen Ali’s 27 off 23.
However, the Kings fell short of the target.
Multan Sultans’ bowling attack proved decisive. Khushdil Shah claimed 3 wickets for 35 runs in 4 overs, Moeen Ali took 2 for 30, and Adam Zampa picked up 1 for 37.
For Karachi Kings, Arafat Minhas was the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 32 in 3 overs.
The win keeps Multan Sultans in contention for a strong playoff position, while Karachi Kings will look to bounce back in their upcoming fixtures.
