KALAT: Security forces carried out a major operation in the Mangochar area of Kalat district in Balochistan based on intelligence reports.
According to sources, an intense exchange of fire took place between security personnel and militants, resulting in the killing of several terrorists.
Security officials stated that the militants belonged to a banned organization involved in subversive activities in the region.
During the operation, a large cache of weapons and explosives was also recovered from their hideouts.
The killed militants were reportedly wanted in several recent terrorist incidents.
A search operation is still ongoing in the area to eliminate any remaining threats.
