RAWALPINDI: Decisive retaliatory operations are being carried out by the Pakistan Armed Forces against Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan and fighters linked to the Afghan Taliban, security sources said.
According to the sources, key positions in the Kurram District sector were targeted during the operations. Several posts were destroyed after strikes were carried out by Pakistani forces.
It was said that multiple militants were killed in the action while others fled the area.
Earlier, security sources said Pakistani forces carried out a strong response in the Bajaur District sector. Positions linked to Afghan Taliban elements near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border were completely destroyed.

Guided missiles were also used to strike the targeted posts along the border, the sources added.
According to security officials, Operation Ghazab Lil Haq will continue until its objectives are achieved.
