WINDER: A devastating road accident on Friday resulted in the martyrdom of a Station House Officer (SHO), his son, and a police constable, while leaving two other individuals injured near Winder.
According to police officials, the collision occurred between a Vigo vehicle and a passenger coach at a location called Pir Mujahid. The deceased have been identified as SHO Winder Abdul Salam Mengal, his son Manzoor Ahmed Mengal, and Police Constable Malik Abdul Nasir Ronjho. All three lost their lives on the spot due to the impact of the crash. Two other individuals sustained injuries in the same incident.
Upon receiving information about the tragic event, rescue teams and police personnel promptly arrived at the scene. The bodies of the martyred personnel and the injured were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. After the completion of all necessary medico-legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to their grieving heirs for burial.
