QUETTA: The Bolan Mail train service between Quetta and Karachi was suspended on 13 March 2026 due to a shortage of passengers.
According to the Pakistan Railways administration, the train did not depart from Quetta as scheduled.
The service has now been rescheduled to depart from Quetta to Karachi on 16 March 2026.
Pakistan Railways routinely suspends services on certain routes when passenger numbers are low.
The decision affected travel plans for passengers who had intended to take the Bolan Mail today.
Authorities said that the suspension is part of ongoing measures to optimize train operations nationwide.
