KOHAT: Pakistani security forces successfully intercepted and destroyed three drones launched by Afghan Taliban-backed Fitna al Khawarij militants in Kohat on Friday.
The drones were effectively brought down by Pakistani security forces using electromagnetic technology, preventing potential attacks
Falling debris from the intercepted drones injured two civilians, officials said.
Pakistan’s security forces remain on high alert for any threats from the FAK and Afghan Taliban.
Authorities warned that any terrorist incident in Pakistan linked to Afghanistan would be met with a full-force response.
The response would target terrorist sanctuaries and the support structures of the Taliban regime inside Afghanistan.
Officials emphasized that Pakistan will act decisively to prevent cross-border terrorism.
