Islamabad: On the request of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Italy has announced visa exemption for holders of Pakistani diplomatic passports.
During his visit to Italy, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with his Italian counterpart.
In the meeting, the Italian Interior Minister assured the provision of 10,500 visas for skilled Pakistani workers.
Mohsin Naqvi informed the Italian Interior Minister about the effective measures taken by the Government of Pakistan to combat illegal immigration.
The Italian Interior Minister remarked that Pakistan’s achievements in controlling illegal immigration, human smuggling, and drug trafficking are highly commendable and praiseworthy.
