In an intelligence-based operation near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Balochistan, security forces successfully engaged and neutralized a group of 7 Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP) militants attempting to infiltrate Pakistani territory.
All seven Khawarij were killed in the operation.
Sources confirm the militant formation was acting under the direct instructions of Khariji commander Baseer, with the objective of carrying out sabotage and terrorist activities inside Pakistan.
Intelligence further indicates that Khariji commander Nasir, linked to the same network, masterminded the September 30 attack on Frontier Corps Headquarters.
Security forces employed timely and effective tactics to eliminate the threat, completely clearing the area and restoring full control. Operations in the region continue to ensure border security.
