ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Murad Saeed, wanted by law enforcement in multiple cases and a fugitive since the May 9 incidents, has resigned from his Senate seat, cited the government’s failure to provide adequate medical treatment to jailed party leader Imran Khan. He addressed his letter ot the party chairman Barrister Gohar and party general secretary Salman Akram Raja.

Saeed also called for collective resignations from the National Assembly, Senate, and provincial assemblies in Punjab and Sindh.
He demanded that former Prime Minister Imran Khan receive immediate medical treatment in the presence of personal doctors.
Saeed accused the government of failing to implement the Supreme Court’s orders.
He said youth have blocked major roads for 36 hours to protest the government’s actions.
“The current government must be challenged at its roots,” Saeed said, urging nationwide protests.
Saeed claimed that peaceful demonstrators were confined inside parliamentary premises.
He asked party members to expand protests across the country to increase pressure on the government.
His resignation was officially sent to caretaker party chairman Barrister Gohar and party general secretary Salman Akram Raja.
