COLOMBO: Rain Threat Looms over Pakistan vs India T20 World Cup 2026 Clash in Colombo
The marquee Pakistan vs India match in Group A of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, scheduled for Sunday, 15 February in Colombo, faces the risk of being affected by rain.
The highly anticipated India-Pakistan contest has once again become uncertain due to forecast rain in Colombo, casting a question mark over whether the match will proceed as planned.
According to various meteorological reports, there is a 50% chance of rain and thunderstorms on match day, with around 2.1 mm of rain expected in the city around 6:00 PM.
If the match is washed out due to rain, both Pakistan and India will be awarded one point each.
Fans are praying that this high-voltage encounter remains unaffected by the weather.
It is worth noting that Pakistan has won both of its matches so far in the tournament and currently tops Group A with 4 points.
