Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti Condemns Terrorism, Pays Tribute to Martyrs
Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that the martyrs shed their sacred blood for this holy land. He was addressing an important session of the Balochistan Assembly.
He strongly condemned the terrorist incidents and said that he shares equally in the grief of the martyrs’ heirs and their families.
The Chief Minister said innocent people have been killed. There is an organized campaign underway to brainwash and mislead innocent individuals.
The Balochistan government is taking steps to establish peace. The root cause of terrorism in Balochistan remains unclear. Through propaganda, people have been handed guns.
He emphasized that political dialogue has never been refused. It is often said that there is no development in Balochistan and no roads exist, but innocent lives can never be allowed to be taken under any pretext.
In the war against terrorism, both security forces and ordinary citizens have made immense sacrifices.
Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti stated:
“How can smuggling be called a business? How can Balochistan become free through violence?
Those who have stained the hands of Baloch people with blood—have they even been able to liberate a single union council?”
He added that the Baloch people are being pushed toward a futile and pointless war. In Gwadar, innocent people were riddled with bullets.
The CM Balochistan further said that the government is ready for talks but the talks on the gun points are not acceptable.
The CM Balochistan said ‘
“They keep chanting ‘Form 47, Form 47’, but in the Balochistan Assembly, out of 51 members, only 11 were elected for the first time. None have been elected for a second term, and none for a third term.”
