Qalandars sign Mustafizur Rahman for PSL 11

LAHORE: Lahore Qalandars Sign Mustafizur Rahman Directly and Retain Shaheen Afridi for PSL 11

Lahore Qalandars, the Pakistan Super League franchise, have made a significant move ahead of the 11th edition of the PSL by announcing the direct signing of Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman.

The left-arm pacer, popularly known as “The Cutter Master,” previously represented the Qalandars in the 2016 and 2018 seasons.

The deal for his return has been finalized at PKR 6.44 crore.

Lahore Qalandars owner Samrin Rana welcomed Mustafizur back, saying: “Mustafizur is not just a player for us—he is an important part of our family. We are delighted to have him back in our dressing room once again.”

In addition to the new signing, the franchise has retained several key players for PSL 11:

  • Shaheen Shah Afridi – Retained for PKR 7 crore
  • Abdullah Shafique – Retained for PKR 2.02 crore
  • Sikandar Raza – Retained for PKR 2.08 crore
  • Mohammad Naeem – Retained for PKR 70 lakh

The Multan Sultans player auction (or retention/final squad announcement phase) is scheduled for February 9.

Lahore Qalandars, the defending champions of PSL 10, will enter PSL 11 with strong determination to successfully defend their title.
