LAHORE: Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited the Lahore Garrison, said a military statement on Thursday.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, Field Marshal received a detailed briefing on the force’s operational readiness, training standards, and measures to enhance combat capability.
During the visit, he reviewed training exercises, modern technologies, and military facilities. He praised officers and troops for their morale and performance.
Field Marshal Munir observed a special field training exercise showcasing advanced technologies. The drill highlighted the army’s focus on innovation and integration in line with future battlefield requirements.
He also inspected sports and recreational facilities for soldiers. He described them as vital for physical fitness, morale, and overall well-being.
The army chief visited the High Care Centre at CMH Lahore. He commended the medical staff and administration for providing advanced healthcare services.
Addressing officers, Munir reiterated the Pakistan Army’s zero-tolerance policy toward threats to national security. He said the force remains fully committed to countering all challenges with professionalism, focus, and resolve.

He reaffirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces stand determined to safeguard the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and internal stability.
