Two Khawarij Killed in Search Operation in Dera Ismail Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Two militants, including a high-value target, affiliated with India-backed proxy group Fitna al-Khawarij were killed by security forces during a search operation in Kulachi Tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan on Wednesday.

According to officials, security forces carried out a targeted operation in Gara Jahan Khani village of Kulachi after receiving information about the reported presence of terrorists.

A clash erupted when security forces reached the area and began the search operation. During the exchange of fire, two terrorists, a high-value target Dilawar who was head of the ‘welfare department” for the Taliban in the area and involved in several attacks against the security forces along with another commander Khayam were killed in the intelligence based operation.

The operation included an explosion, but no casualties were reported among security personnel. Security forces continue to clear and secure the village, officials said.
