PAK Navy successfully tests anti-ship missile

ISLAMABAD: PAK Navy conducted a successful test flight of an indigenously developed ship launched Anti-Ship Ballistic Missile.

According to the Inter Public Service Relations (ISPR).

The weapon system is capable of engaging sea as well as ground targets with high precision.

The system is equipped with state-of-the-art guidance and advanced maneuverability features.

The flight test was witnessed by Admiral Naveed Ashraf, NI, NI (M), Chief of the Naval Staff, senior scientists and engineers.

The successful flight test is a testimony to Pakistan’s technological prowess and Pakistan Navy’s unwavering commitment to safeguard national interests.

President, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Field Marshal, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and Services Chiefs congratulated participating units and scientists on this milestone achievement.

The ISPR has said that the technology is a proof of the technical skills and the forces and the resolution of the Pakistan Navy.

Meanwhile , the president , Field Marshal and the Services Chiefs also greeted the scientists  and the technical staff on the successful test of the anti-ballistic missile by the Pak Navy.

The Pakistan Navy has steadily strengthened its maritime capabilities in recent years, acquiring some of the region’s most advanced naval platforms and weapon systems.

Modern frigates equipped with cutting-edge radar, electronic warfare suites, and long-range anti-ship and surface-to-air missiles have significantly boosted the fleet’s offensive and defensive power.

The addition of advanced submarines with air-independent propulsion technology has further enhanced underwater endurance, stealth, and strike capability, giving Pakistan a strong deterrent in the Indian Ocean region.

The Navy has also integrated high-precision cruise missiles capable of engaging targets at extended ranges from both surface ships and submarines.

Modern maritime patrol aircraft, drones, and surveillance systems have improved intelligence, reconnaissance, and early-warning capacity, strengthening coastal security and situational awareness.

With these high-level acquisitions and continuous upgrades, the Pakistan Navy is transitioning into a more agile, technologically advanced force capable of safeguarding national maritime interests and contributing to regional security.
