India launches propaganda to undermine Pakistan’s global gains

ISLAMABAD: India’s Godi media has launched another propaganda campaign, allegedly targeting Pakistan’s intelligence agency amid Islamabad’s growing global standing through what analysts describe as Field Marshal Asim Munir’s ‘military diplomacy.’

Indian security agencies have claimed they uncovered a ‘white-collar terrorist network’ linked to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), involving doctors, engineers, and PhD scholars.

Officials alleged that ISI has shifted strategy to recruit educated professionals to evade surveillance and carry out terrorist activities. Indian media further claimed that the network was planning one of the country’s “biggest-ever attacks.”

According to Indian authorities, several people were arrested in joint operations across Jammu and Kashmir, including Budgam and Srinagar. The detainees reportedly include two doctors, Adil Ahmed Rather and Muzammil, accused of links with the banned Jaish-e-Mohammed group.

Indian officials claimed three major attacks were foiled during these operations. They alleged that “ISI used doctors” to bypass security checks and continue their activities undetected.

The claims reportedly surfaced after a man arrested for sharing Jaish-e-Mohammed material on social media disclosed information about a financial and technical support network run by educated individuals.

Indian media also reported that Gujarat’s Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) detained a PhD scholar and a religious cleric for allegedly working on biological weapons — a claim that remains unverified.

Authorities alleged that the network operated through professionals from multiple countries, including the United States, using research and humanitarian projects as cover.

Indian security officials described it as a “new phase of hybrid warfare,” warning that Pakistan’s alleged use of “educated Islamists” posed a serious threat to national security.

Pakistan has not issued an official response. However, international observers noted that such accusations often emerge ahead of elections or politically sensitive periods in India and should be independently verified before drawing conclusions.
