Mark-e-Haq: Trump hits India again where it hurts most

MIAMI: India, defeated in the ‘Mark-e-Haq,’ once again faces global embarrassment after reports resurfaced of its military losses to Pakistan during failed Operation Sandor.

US President Donald Trump revealed that eight Indian aircraft were shot down, not seven as previously reported, during the Pakistan-India conflict.

Speaking at the American Business Forum in Miami, Trump said, “A total of eight aircraft were downed — seven were completely destroyed, and the eighth was badly damaged.”

Trump reiterated his earlier claim of playing a decisive role in brokering a ceasefire between the two nuclear-armed neighbours.

The U.S. president has repeatedly praised Pakistan’s political and military leadership for their professionalism and restraint.

Last month,  President Donald Trump, had praised Field Marshal Asim Munir. “The war between Pakistan and India could have been the biggest war,” Trump stated, noting both are nuclear powers. He recounted that the Pakistani Field Marshal praised him, saying, “I saved millions of lives”.

The US President Donald Trump hd also spoke the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the occasion of Diwali and had warned them against any war with Pakistan

“I told them, ‘let’s have no wars with Pakistan’,” Trump told reporters. He credited the influence of trade discussions as a tool for de-escalation, adding, “And we have no war with Pakistan and India. That was a very, very good thing.”
