KHUZDAR: A massive corruption has been exposed in the Jhawalan Complex.
The NOC of the project was cancelled; however, the illegal construction is still in process.
According to the details, a disclosure of illegal allotment and construction of the Jhawlan complex KHuzdar has been made on the land acquired by the Municipal Corporation.
A mega corruption scandal is reported about the Municipal Corporations land in the Jhawalan Complex Khuzdar.
The above-mentioned land was illegally allotted for peanuts after the approval of the Secretary local government according to some very reliable sources.
The land initially allotted consisted of only a few hundreds of acres. However, it was extended illegally to thousands of acres later on.
The stunning aspect is that the land was reserved for the petrol pump. However, the construction of hundreds of shops is being carried out off the map of the Jhawalan Complex.
According to the sources, the NOC of the said land has been cancelled. But despite that, the construction of the complex continues.
Despite several complaints from the public, no proceedings are carried out by the Anti-Corruption Balochistan, the Government of Balochistan and the Local Government.
The public and the social circles have raised their concerns and have appealed from the CM Balochistan, Chief Secretary and the DG Anti-Corruption to launch a credible investigation against the illegal allotment and the responsible figures should be held accountable for that.
Meanwhile, the CM Balochistan has said that Corruption is the biggest root-cause for chaos and deprivation in Balochistan.
While talking to the members of the Youth Council today in Quetta, the CM Sarfaraz Bugti said that Balochistan can be led to the way of development and stability by rooting out corruption.
He said that corruption in all the departments will be dealt with the iron-hands and a strict action will be carried out against all the figures involved in corrupt practices across the province.
