A person dies, 20 injured in an accident in panjgur

Panjgur: In a horrible road-accident in Panjgur, a pick-up van loaded with wedding-guests overturned causing death to a person and injuring 20 other people.

According to the details, in a horrifying traffic accident, a pick-up van overturned in the Panjgur area of Balochistan.

The incident took place in the Sabzap area of Panjgur, where a pick-up van was heading towards a wedding ceremony carrying guests.

The wheel of the pick-up van burst out and it overturned. A man died on the spot whereas some 20 people sustained injuries.

The dead body and the injured persons were shifted to the hospital immediately by the Rescue 1122 team.

The Medical Superintendent Dr.wazir Ahmed Baloch and District Health Officer Dr.Abid Reki and their team did the treatment of the people sustaining injuries.

Most of the injured persons were shifted to Karachi through the ambulance of the Teaching Hospital Panjgur.

It was just a few days earlier when a deadly accident had taken place on the Quetta-Chaman Highway causing deaths of four people.

Many such road-accidents have taken place on the Balochistan roads and highway causing a horrible number of deaths in the ongoing year 2025.

The poor road infrastructure remains as the main reason of such accidents. Another reason why the road -accidents are taking place rather frequently is the one-way road infrastructure in Balochistan.

Often heavy vehicle collides with the small vans while crossing each other through narrow paths.

Some time goods transport clashes with the other vehicles while taking over or making an overspeed.

The traders, transporters and the passengers have demanded a better road infrastructure on numerous occasions from the government and the concerning departments.

The people call that the government should take necessary measures that can help reduce or even eliminate such deadly road accidents.

The government, on the other hands , claim that the some quality roads-infrastructure is on process , but it will take some time for completion.
