RAWALPIND: Pakistan Army said on Tuesday it killed five terrorists linked to the Indian proxy group Fitna al Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation in Khuzdar district of Balochistan.
According to the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), the media affairs wing of the Pakistan Army, the forces launched the overnight raid on September 14–15 after receiving reports of militant presence in the area.
Troops engaged the terrorists in an intense firefight, killing five and recovering weapons, ammunition, and explosives from their hideout.
Officials said the militants were actively involved in multiple terrorist activities across the region. Security forces have since launched a sanitization operation to clear the area of any remaining threats.
“The security forces of Pakistan remain determined to eradicate Indian-sponsored terrorism and bring all perpetrators to justice,” the statement emphasised.

Earlier last night, armed militants associated with the Indian proxy Fitna al Hindustan launched coordinated attacks on police and Levies stations in Shirani district of Balochistan, officials confirmed Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner Shirani said the assaults damaged the communication systems of the targeted posts. However, security forces mounted an effective counteroffensive, forcing the attackers to retreat.
At least six security personnel were also reported injured in the clashes. Authorities immediately imposed an emergency at Civil Hospital Zhob to treat the wounded.
Following the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to pursue the fleeing militants.
The latest violence underscores the persistent security challenges in the region, as Shirani district has witnessed repeated attacks of the Indian proxies on police stations in the past.
