Balochistan govt approves five psc exam tries to empower youth

Balochistan Assembly Demands Five Chances in PSC Exams for Fair Play

QUETTA: The Balochistan Assembly has passed a resolution demanding that candidates from the province be given five chances to appear in the  Public Services  Commission (PSC) examinations. This move aims to create a level playing field for students in Balochistan.

The resolution was presented by several lawmakers, including Mir Younus Aziz Zehri, Zabad Ali Reki, and others. It received majority support in the assembly.

During the session, the members argued that students from other major provinces like Punjab and Sindh get more attempts to clear these competitive exams. They stated that this puts Balochistan’s youth at a disadvantage when applying for government jobs.

The resolution calls on the provincial government to take immediate action. The lawmakers believe that increasing the number of attempts to five will help talented and deserving students from Balochistan succeed. They said this change is crucial for providing fair employment opportunities and enabling the youth to contribute to the province’s development and governance.
