ZEHRI: Members of the Baloch Yekjehti Committee openly supported terrorists belonging to the proscribed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), when security forces came to arrest high-profile BLA terrorists. In addition, security forces had launched an operation in Zehri in order to apprehend individuals described as “high-value targets” linked to the Fitna Al Khawarij.
In this regard, the female participants of the BYC were not merely unarmed demonstrators but appeared to be “well-trained” and strategically positioned to obstruct security personnel.
The incident has once again brought attention to the complex dynamics of militancy in Balochistan, where extremist elements have sought to exploit local grievances and mobilize communities for their agenda. Furthermore, security experts mention that the BLA has been responsible for numerous attacks on security personnel, infrastructure, and civilians.
Moreover, government representatives have reasserted their commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the province, stressing that development and dialogue remain essential for addressing the concerns of local communities.
