QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti reasserted his government’s determination to safeguard peace and stability in the province, declaring that the fight against terrorism will be pursued both on the ground and through legal means.
He further added during the press conference, r said that the state would “not spare” those involved in destabilizing Balochistan, stressing that the people and security forces stand united against all forms of militancy.
He underlined that certain hostile elements, allegedly backed by foreign hands, were attempting to disrupt the province’s peaceful environment. In this sense. without naming specific cases, he pointed out that groups such as the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) had been involved in activities that harmed not only security forces but also ordinary citizens.
So far, Bugti acknowledged the sacrifices of security forces who have been working tirelessly to neutralize such challenges.
Furthermore, noting the allegations of external interference, the chief minister maintained that Pakistan would raise such concerns through proper diplomatic and legal channels. He focused on that Balochistan’s future lay in development, education, and progress rather than conflict.
