Panjgur faces PTCL internet suspension for a week, mobile data unavailable for four years

PANGUR: Frustrated internet users of Panjgur district have criticized the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTCL) for suspending internet services in the district for the past week.

According to reports, Internet services provided by PTCL have been suspended in Panjgur for the past week, while mobile data has reportedly been unavailable in the region for the last four years. In addition to the complete internet outage, PTCL landline and Ufone mobile services are also partially disrupted.

The residents told local media that due to the prolonged disruption, wealthy and influential individuals have begun installing private satellite systems to stay connected, while the general public remains deprived of even basic internet access.

They lashed out PTCL for collecting millions of rupees from customers without delivering the promised services, adding that even the PTCL failed to maintain the proper services on landline connections.

The persistent lack of internet and data services has affected education, communication, and access to information, leaving residents feeling isolated and neglected.
