Jhao under Siege: No sanctuary for terror in Balochistan

AWARAN: In Awaran’s Jhao area, the firm resolve of the state is on full display. Security forces have strategically surrounded and neutralized several terrorists affiliated with the so-called “Fitna al Hindustan,” targeting their hideouts in a decisive operation.

This action sends a clear message — no part of Balochistan will serve as a safe haven for those who seek to destabilize Pakistan.

Our forces remain ever-vigilant and committed to restoring peace and stability across the region.

With continued operations and divine support (Insha’Allah), this threat will be eradicated completely.

Over the last two years, security forces have intensified intelligence-based operations across Balochistan. From Kech, Panjgur, and Turbat to Kohlu, Awaran, and Dera Bugti, numerous high-value terrorist networks have been dismantled.

The operations have included drone surveillance, precision airstrikes, and ground raids, leading to the elimination and capture of key insurgents, destruction of weapons caches, and disruption of cross-border terrorist movements.

These efforts have significantly reduced militant mobility and reasserted state authority in previously disturbed areas.

These terrorists are not only launching attacks on convoys, checkposts, and security outposts, but are also consistently targeting development projects and damaging public infrastructure.

Their actions are clearly part of a sinister foreign-backed conspiracy to deprive Balochistan — a region already mired in underdevelopment — of progress and the welfare of its impoverished people.

By spreading chaos and instability, these elements aim to please their foreign masters.

However, the armed forces are fully committed to defeating their malicious intentions and will ensure that the province moves steadily toward development and prosperity.
