QUETTA: The Balochistan government has launched development projects for the new fiscal year. It released Rs. 50 billion in development funds on the first day. Officials say this marks a new era of fast and practical governance.
The Balochistan Finance Department confirmed the release. It shows the government’s focus on timely projects and sound financial management.
A government official said the quick release reflects strong planning, discipline, and commitment. The funds will go to health, education, irrigation, roads, and energy.
Officials described the move as a model for other provinces. They called it a new way of doing development in Balochistan.
Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti praised the step. He said this is not about promises on paper but real work on the ground. “Every rupee will now show in action, not just in files,” he said. “When intentions are clear, decisions take hours, not days.”
He said the fast release sends a clear message: the government stands with the people.
Observers see this as a major shift. It aims to speed up development, build public trust, and deliver results without delay.
