QUETTA: A passenger bus caught fire on Quetta’s Western Bypass, rescue sources confirmed. Six passengers died, and seven others were injured in the incident.
Rescue teams are on the scene and continue their operations. Efforts are underway to help the injured and control the situation.
The Government of Balochistan expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy. It has ordered a full investigation into the cause of the fire.
Government spokesperson Shahid Rind conveyed heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families. He said the administration shares their grief in this difficult time.
The injured are receiving prompt and high-quality medical care. “Providing proper treatment is our top priority,” said Rind.
Authorities have launched an inquiry into the incident. “We will take strict action against anyone found responsible,” the spokesperson added.
