QUETTA: There is a forecast of a heavy rains in Balochistan and other parts of the countries starting from the Wednesday.
National Disaster Management Authority has given a flood-threat in this regard.
According to the latest advisory issued by the Pakistan Meteorological Department, a strong spell of monsoon rains is expected to begin across various parts of the country from June 25, 2025.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has also issued an alert for potential heavy rainfall that could lead to urban flooding and landslides in vulnerable areas.
The forecast suggests that strong winds, thunderstorms, and heavy downpours are likely in districts including Dera Bugti, Kohlu, Barkhan, Naseerabad, and Jaffarabad between June 25 and June 29.
Other areas like upper and central Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Sindh, and Balochistan are also expected to experience significant rainfall activity during this period.

Massed are advised to take necessary precautions to avoid any untoward situation of flood during these days.
