Deputy PM Dar departs for China amid Pakistan-India tensions

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, departed for Beijing on Monday for a three-day visit amid Pakistan-India tensions.

During his visit, he will hold comprehensive discussions with China’s Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, as well as other senior Chinese leaders, including key members of the Chinese Communist Party in Beijing.

The delegation will engage with Chinese counterparts to discuss a range of bilateral and regional issues, with particular focus on the escalating tensions between Pakistan and India.

These meetings would focus on current regional developments and the multiple dimensions of Pakistan-China relations.

The visit is a part of high-level exchanges between Pakistan and China, and a reaffirmation of All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership between the two brotherly countries.
