Quetta: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sarfraz Bugti, has inaugurated the first women’s market in Gwadar, named Gwadar Women Bazaar.
During the briefing, it was shared that the market includes 14 shops, which will create employment opportunities for women.
The Chief Minister visited the bazaar, met with women shopkeepers, and listened to their concerns and suggestions.
Sarfraz Bugti said that women’s empowerment is one of the government’s top priorities, and such projects will support economic growth.
He added that Gwadar Women Bazaar is an excellent platform to highlight women’s talents and that the provincial government is providing a supportive environment for women in business.
He further stated that the scope of such initiatives will be expanded, as sustainable development is not possible without women’s economic participation.
He said projects like the Women Bazaar in Gwadar will promote social and economic stability, and providing business opportunities to women is the key to a brighter future.
The government will continue full support in this regard.
