Gold Prices Fall for Fifth Straight Day

ISLAMABAD: Gold prices continued to decline for the fifth consecutive day in both global and local markets.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, prices of gold and silver dropped further today, pushing the price of gold in Pakistan below Rs. 500,000 per tola.

In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs. 2,900 to Rs. 490,862, while the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs. 2,486 to Rs. 420,835.

In the international market, gold prices dropped by $29 per ounce, bringing the new rate to $4,685 per ounce.
