MANSEHRA: A record number of tourists visited Kaghan Valley over three days during the Eid-ul-Azha holidays, with foreign tourists also among the visitors.
Families enjoyed the pleasant weather and spent the Eid break in the scenic mountain valley.
According to data from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority, 128,862 tourists traveled to Kaghan during the period.
Officials said foreign tourists were also part of the influx.
The Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) said a large number of visitors were still present in the valley.
Tourists enjoyed the cool climate, snow-covered mountains, glaciers along the roads, and the flowing waters of the Kunhar River.
Visitors also explored lakes, waterfalls, and the overall natural beauty of the region.
Many tourists prepared and enjoyed barbecues using meat brought for Eid sacrifices.

The KDA said it deployed staff at various locations to guide and assist tourists throughout the valley.
