On the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, a leading welfare organization from Pakistan distributed sacrificial meat, Eid gifts, and presents among families affected by the ongoing conflict in Gaza as part of its humanitarian efforts.
In this regard, Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rehman from AlKhidmat Foundation, spent Eid in Egypt to express solidarity with orphaned children, widows, and displaced families affected by the Gaza war. During the visit, he formally inaugurated the organization’s Qurbani project for the people of Gaza.
The delegation also included President of the Pakistan Medical Association (PIMA), Dr. Atif Hafeez Siddiqui, along with representatives of Alkhidmat Norway. After offering Eid prayers at the central mosque in the Egyptian city of Rehab, the delegation visited slaughterhouses established near the Gaza border in areas including Ras Gharib and Nubaria.
In this sense, Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rehman personally slaughtered a ram to officially launch the Qurbani campaign for the people of Gaza. The delegation reviewed arrangements related to the slaughtering of animals, meat preparation, packaging, and secure transportation, expressing satisfaction over the management and transparency of the process.
Meanwhile, Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rehman said that the people of Pakistan had once again demonstrated strong solidarity with the Palestinian people by dedicating their Qurbani to families affected by the war.
He stated that Alkhidmat Foundation was responsibly and transparently delivering donations entrusted by the Pakistani public to those in need in Gaza.
He further shared that, with the support of the people of Pakistan, the organization has arranged the sacrifice of 950 animals this year for war-affected Palestinian families so they may also share in the joy of Eid-ul-Adha.
Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rehman reaffirmed that Alkhidmat Foundation would continue its humanitarian and rehabilitation activities for children and families affected by the Gaza conflict.
Besides Egypt, Qurbani arrangements have also been made in (Jerusalem), the West Bank, and Lebanon, while limited sacrifices were also carried out inside Gaza to provide fresh meat directly to affected families.
