Terrorist Attack on Saranan Police Station in Pishin

Terrorist Attack on Saranan Police Station

QUETTA: Mischievous elements have launched a cowardly attack on the police station in Saranan.

Extremists first fired a rocket at the station and subsequently destroyed the building, fleeing with government vehicles.

Disoriented by the increasing pressure and successive operations of security forces, these elements are targeting soft targets.

These mob-like miscreants are involved in serious crimes of extortion and extremism.

Militants Targetting Infrastructure and Public Propertis:

Beyond direct assaults on law enforcement agencies, militant groups operating across Balochistan have systematically expanded their violent campaigns to target critical public infrastructure, vital state assets, and defenseless civilian life.

Over the years, these extremist factions have repeatedly targeted government offices, municipal buildings, commercial financial institutions such as banks, and public transport including passenger buses, aiming to create widespread fear, social instability, and severe economic disruption.

By deliberately targeting innocent civilians—including daily wage earners, ordinary travelers, and local laborers—these groups demonstrate a blatant disregard for basic humanity and regional peace.

Their destructive tactics are never restricted to official installations alone; they routinely sabotage highways, vital bridges, communication networks, and railway tracks, effectively cutting off remote districts and severely hindering regional trade, education, and healthcare delivery.

These malicious actions reflect a desperate attempt by anti-state elements to undermine public order and halt the broader socioeconomic development of the province.

State security forces and law enforcement agencies remain completely steadfast in their collective resolve to counter these ongoing terrorist threats, dismantle localized extortion networks, and safeguard public property.

Protecting civilian lives and maintaining long-term law and order require a robust societal rejection of such violent ideologies, ensuring that the province successfully moves forward toward lasting peace, stability, and collective prosperity free from any shadow of extremism and intimidation.

Furthermore, the persistent propaganda campaigns and digital disinformation spread by these anti-state actors are carefully designed to mislead the public, distort ground realities, and mask their ongoing failures.

By leveraging fabricated social media narratives, these groups attempt to manufacture sympathy and obscure their violent nature.

However, the resilient citizens of the province increasingly recognize these malicious tactics for what they truly are: desperate ploys by marginalized fringe elements.
