QUETTA : In a recent interview, Tania Bazai has alleged that women leaders of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), including Mahrang Baloch and Sami Din Baloch, are exploiting the “woman card” to garner public sympathy while their real objective is to fuel instability in Balochistan.
Bazai asserted that the BYC has no genuine connection to the rights of the Baloch people, describing the organization’s aims as purely disruptive. She claimed the group’s activities are designed to incite chaos and unrest across the province rather than address legitimate socioeconomic or political grievances.
Speaking candidly, Bazai argued that whenever women in any society—whether linked to civil and constitutional movements or militant outfits like the BLA—resort to playing the woman card, their sole purpose is to manipulate public emotions. She maintained that such tactics are deployed to deflect scrutiny and win undeserved sympathy, regardless of the underlying agenda.
Her remarks have added a new layer to the ongoing debate over Balochistan’s activist networks, with the BYC yet to respond to the allegations.
