QUETTA: The Election Commission has cleared nomination papers of 2,870 candidates for the upcoming local government elections in Quetta. According to the provincial election commissioner, 2,870 nomination papers were approved, while 329 candidates withdrew their papers. He said 2,541 candidates will contest the elections.
