Security Forces Kill 17 Terrorists in Balochistan Operations

RAWALPINDI: Following the train incident on May 24, 2026, Pakistan’s Security Forces launched a series of coordinated intelligence-based operations across multiple districts of Balochistan, including Mastung, Nushki, Zehri, Khuzdar, and Kech.

During these high-intensity operations, troops effectively targeted and engaged multiple terrorist hideouts.

After fierce exchanges of fire, seventeen terrorists belonging to the Indian-sponsored group Fitna-al-Hindustan were killed, delivering a severe blow to the operational networks in the region.

Security Forces also recovered a large cache of weapons, ammunition, explosives, and prepared Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) from the possession of the deceased terrorists, who were actively involved in numerous high-profile terrorist activities in the area.

Sanitization operations remain underway to completely clear these areas.

This relentless counter-terrorism campaign, executed under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” vision approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace as Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies work to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
