QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti visited the residence of provincial assembly member Mir Rahmat Saleh Baloch to offer condolences over the brutal killing of his brother, Waleed Saleh Baloch, and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice.
Immediately after arriving in Quetta from Islamabad, the Chief Minister drove straight from the airport to the home of Mir Rahmat Saleh Baloch. He expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic incident and conveyed heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family.
Paying tribute to the slain youth, Bugti said that Waleed Saleh Baloch was a talented, upright, and promising young man whose killing was not only a personal loss for the family but also a major blow to Balochistan’s social fabric.
Condemning the incident in the strongest terms, the Chief Minister said that those responsible for targeting innocent citizens in Panjgur are enemies of humanity and will not be spared under any circumstances.
He assured that the provincial government would ensure that all individuals involved in the heinous act are swiftly brought to justice in accordance with the law.
“The government stands firmly with the affected family and will fulfill every requirement of justice,” Bugti affirmed.
He also offered prayers for the departed soul and for patience and strength to the grieving family in this difficult time.
A day earlier, the Balochistan Chief Minister , CM Mir Sarfraz Bugti, had sought a comprehensive report from the authorities and instructed law enforcement agencies to apprehend the perpetrators without delay. He pledged that those responsible would face exemplary punishment under the full weight of the law.
“Such cowardly acts cannot shake the resolve of the people of Balochistan,” Mr. Bugti stated, assuring the victim’s family of the government’s complete support in its pursuit of justice. He emphasised that the protection of citizens’ lives and property remains the government’s foremost priority, vowing that “criminals will not be allowed to escape the grip of the law.”
