DOHA : Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of the recent Houthi attack on Saudi Arabia, terming it a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In an official statement, the Qatari Foreign Ministry denounced the assault as a serious breach of international law and a direct threat to regional peace and stability. The ministry emphasized that such aggressive acts undermine the security of the entire Gulf region and cannot be tolerated.
The statement further expressed Qatar’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, reaffirming Doha’s steadfast support for all measures taken by Riyadh to safeguard its national security and protect its citizens.
“Qatar stands firmly with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against any threats to its safety and stability,” the Foreign Ministry said, reiterating the Gulf nation’s commitment to collective regional security and cooperation.
The condemnation comes as part of Qatar’s consistent policy of opposing any acts of aggression that endanger the sovereignty of its allies and destabilize the Middle East. Doha also called on the international community to take a clear stance against such violations to ensure enduring peace in the region.
