PTI founder's sister Noreen Niazi draws criticism over controversial remarks on Pakistan Army

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder’s sister Noreen Niyazi, made controversial statements regarding the Pakistan Armed Forces and the military operation referred to as the “Marka e Haq” during a recent interview.

In this regard, Noreen Niazi criticized the role of Pakistan’s armed forces in relation to the operation. She alleged that the “Marka e Haq” was the result of an understanding between the Pakistan military and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a claim that has drawn attention on social media and within political circles.

Niazi further claimed that India refrained from launching an attack on Pakistan at the request of Israel because, according to her, Pakistan was moving toward recognizing Israel.

She presented these allegations without publicly providing evidence to support her assertions.

The statements have generated significant debate, with critics describing the comments as controversial and questioning their factual basis.

As of the filing of this report, neither the Pakistan Armed Forces nor the Government of Pakistan has issued an official response to Noreen Niazi’s statements.

Similarly, there has been no official reaction from PTI regarding the interview or the claims made by the party founder’s sister.

The comments have also created widespread discussion across social media platforms, where users have expressed mixed reactions. While some individuals defended Niazi’s right to express her views, others called for caution against making unverified allegations on matters related to national security.

No independent evidence has been presented to substantiate the claims made during the interview. The allegations therefore remain the personal assertions of Noreen Niazi and have not been verified by official sources.

The development is expected to fuel further political debate in the coming days as stakeholders and commentators continue to react to the controversial remarks.
