RAWALPINDI: A detailed medical examination of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder’s affected eye was completed at Adiala Jail on Wednesday, with a specialized medical team in attendance for approximately an hour and a half.
According to jail sources, a four-member medical team from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), including three doctors and a technician, conducted the procedure. The team was assisted by experts from Shifa International Hospital.
Sources confirmed that Dr. Arif Khan and Professor Nadeem Qureshi performed the follow-up examination of the PTI founder’s ailing eye. The medical personnel brought all necessary equipment with them to the jail facility.
Following the completion of the examination, the medical team left Adiala Jail. The official medical report will be submitted to the Commissioner of Islamabad for further action
