CHANGSHA: President Asif Ali Zardari has arrived in Changsha on a five-day official visit to China, marking an important step in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
Upon arrival, the President was received by Hu Zhuosheng, Vice Chairman of the People’s Congress of China’s Hunan province. According to the Foreign Office, President Zardari is scheduled to meet with the provincial leadership during his stay.
As part of his visit, the President will also travel to Shaoshan to visit the birthplace of Mao Zedong, a symbolic gesture reflecting the historical ties between the two nations.
The Foreign Office further stated that several agreements are expected to be signed between the Sindh government and Chinese companies during the visit, aimed at enhancing economic cooperation and investment
