QUETTA: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while addressing officers and soldiers at the Command and Staff College Quetta, stated that state institutions stand as the guardians of Pakistan’s geography and sovereignty.
He remarked that while India has consistently adopted a posture of aggression and provocation, Pakistan has always emphasized diplomacy and dialogue.
Expressing pride in standing alongside the country’s brave defenders, the Prime Minister warned that any enemy miscalculating its strength to threaten Pakistan would be taught a stern lesson.
He noted that Pakistan’s aerial superiority and advanced missile capabilities have successfully vindicated the nation on the global stage, especially after India imposed aggression a year ago by ignoring Islamabad’s offer for peace talks.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the strategic initiatives undertaken to secure mineral corridors in Balochistan.
He highly commended the efforts of institutions under the patronage of Field Marshal Asim Munir for driving development, peace, and public welfare in the province, emphasizing that providing a secure environment in Balochistan remains indispensable.
Reiterating the national resolve, the Prime Minister asserted that the counter-terrorism campaign will continue relentlessly until the menace is entirely eradicated.
Furthermore, he noted that Pakistan is actively strengthening its ties with friendly nations and praised the Field Marshal for demonstrating exemplary courage, leadership, and professional excellence.
