LAHORE: Pakistan’s Abdul Rehman Wins Magic Skill Award after the International Hockey Federation (FIH) announced the winners of its World Cup Magic Skill Awards.
Abdul Rehman secured the Men’s Magic Skill Award for his impressive three-dimensional skills and spectacular goal during Pakistan’s match against Wales at the FIH Hockey World Cup.
The Pakistani forward produced a brilliant individual effort, beating four defenders with his skills before finding the back of the net. His goal received 44 percent of the public vote, helping him secure the award.

Three players were shortlisted for the men’s award, including Pakistan’s Abdul Rehman, South Africa’s Kanton Melville and France’s Krystel Elt.
Abdul Rehman emerged victorious after a close contest with Melville, who received 39 percent of the votes.
The award recognised the Pakistani player’s outstanding skill and individual effort during the World Cup, with his goal against Wales attracting significant attention from hockey fans.
India’s Bichu Devi Wins Women’s Award
In the women’s category, India goalkeeper Bichu Devi Kharibam won the Magic Skill Award.

She was recognised for producing an impressive reflex save during the final minute of India’s match against England.
