Security Forces Foil Infiltration Attempt Near Pakistan-Afghanistan Border in Kurram

PESHAWAR: Security Forces Foil Infiltration Attempt near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to security sources.

The sources said security forces detected militants attempting to cross the border and immediately responded with effective firing. The militants were forced to retreat and flee the area following the security forces’ response.

The incident occurred near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, where security personnel remain on heightened alert to prevent cross-border infiltration.

Security Forces Foil Infiltration Attempt in Kurram

According to security sources, attempts were also made from Afghan border posts to provide assistance to the militants during the attempted infiltration. The sources said the support effort was thwarted by timely action from Pakistani security forces.

Security sources further claimed that the Pakistan Army targeted Afghan border posts allegedly providing assistance to the infiltrators. Following the exchange of fire, the situation in the area was brought under the control of security forces.
