Sarfraz Bugti Outlines Balochistan's Digital & AI Transformation

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti paid tribute to the CTD and law enforcement agencies for the successful operations, stating that security forces had foiled the evil intentions of terrorists through timely and effective action.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Bugti said the killing of nine terrorists on a tip-off was clear proof of the professionalism, courage, and determination of security agencies to protect the people. “Terrorist elements will never succeed in conspiring to harm the peace and stability of Balochistan,” the Chief Minister asserted.

Expressing deep sorrow over the martyrdom of four CTD personnel, Bugti paid tribute to the fallen officers. “The brave sons who sacrificed their lives for the peace of the homeland are the pride of the entire nation, and their sacrifices will always be remembered,” he said.

The Chief Minister also extended his best wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured personnel and directed relevant authorities to provide the best possible treatment facilities.

Reiterating his government’s resolve, Bugti vowed that operations would continue until the complete eradication of terrorism from the province and that indiscriminate action would be taken against anti-state elements. “The sacrifices of the martyrs will never go in vain,” he said, adding that the Balochistan government would utilize all resources to protect the lives and property of its people.

In a separate incident, a constable was injured in a grenade attack on a police checkpoint in the Sui area of Dera Bugti.
